11.18.09 - Meeting To Dos

Hi everyone,

I am a bit under the weather and unable to make it to today's meeting. Here is a list of some of the things you can be working on:

1. Service Learning Projects #1 - Santee Mini Environmental Expo of LA
- still need to confirm date, but can start to make invitations to pass out at City Hall

2. Service Learning Projects #2 - Traveling Bike Gardening Classroom
- brainstorm ideas on what to present during lesson to schools
- call high schools in biking area, see if have newspaper and can write a story, set dates

3. Video PSA #1 - Cold Beach
- need footage setting up how friends make pact to return to beach a summer years later to celebrate birthday
- work on editing
- create closing frame: "CLIMATE CHANGE, it's getting personal"

4. Video PSA #2 - Paco's Death
- additional footage of anchorman saying "Breaking News" and transferring over to Luiza
- possible other footage of Paco, or still images
- work on editing
- create closing frame: "CLIMATE CHANGE, it's getting personal"

5. Video PSAs #3, #4 - Bees & Gas Masks & Music Video(concepts)
- Gas Mask - I have the draft script for the gas mask concept, can brainstorm more
- Bees - brainstorm Bee PSA more: einstein quote, footage of bees, how relates to food shortage, poverty...
- Music Video - brainstorm idea on music video, message/lyrics, images...

6. Blogs
- everyone is responsible for one blog this week
